GRRRRRRRRRR!

My husband has gotten on My LAST nerve this night!

He KNOWS I am behind on a custom audio project; so what does he do?? First of
all, he turns on VH-1 and starts watching classic rock videos of the 70's,
knowing this would distract Me fatally. Now how do I know this is a deliberate
distraction attempt?

Because usually, Music Video is the LAST genre of television you would find
Him watching is why!

When I gave up trying to script, I decided to go to Playlist.com and try to
find enough female-performed songs to make a Girl playlist. Here He comes
AGAIN! This time, trying to give Me artists to include, knowing that most
of what he was suggesting were C and W singers. I had a theme in mind,
and His suggestions would muddle that theme unmercifully. I give up now,
tonight is wasted and useless.

I'll try again tomorrow; and THIS time, I am sending Him out for a minimum
of two hours so that I can script and record in some semblance of peace.

Of Gemstones as Hypnotic "Toys"

Look at all the sparkly gems on My profile!
I frequently use these to fixate a client's attention, facilitating hypnotic
induction.

I've been a gem collector for a long time; easily over 35 years. Stones come
to Me and go again through many different paths. Sometimes I find that a gem
of a particular type and a friend go together so well that to force them to be
apart would be close to sin; therefore a spur of the moment gifting will occur.

Over the years, a few unscrupluous visitors have caused gems to take a walk on Me.
I normally do not expect to see such as those ever again, and will also block the facilitator of their disappearance from My presence.

eBay is a constant source of new stones for Me, much to the chagrin of My Lord.
He sees Me on My eBay account and groans; for He doesn't know usually whether I
seek technology, books or gemstones...these are my three main auction weaknesses.

I have decided after the current run is paid for to keep away from eBay until I have gathered enough cash to visit the US and return.

One Asleep, One Awake

NightsEye asleep, Dreamsender awake; what is wrong with this picture? Hmmmm...it is usually the other way around!

I woke up far too early this AM. I chatted for over an hour, looked over the new community which is the title link, and am now having some morning tea. I think I am going to access some hypnosis audio and get a bit more rest!

Of Builders and Their Mates

I finally had something occur for which I have been waiting a while!

That little thing all born Web designers have called "coding itch"...
which causes the designer to first decide on how the new site
("I'm building a new site? Just like that? Oh My!")
is going to look and its theme subject. Then the actual build
of the index page occurs and the content dev starts.

This may have the now-frantic designer, who is at this stage most
likely thinking: ("Now WHY am I building this? Oh yes...I wanted
to do...") crawling the WWW in search of auxillary content, not
having enough of her own to start with, and is not in the mood
to sit and develop content from scratch...this site wants out
on the Web now!

Fortunately for those of us who get the itch, there is
plenty of excellent third-party content to be had, on
any subject imaginiable. So off goes the designer with
her virtual shopping basket (blank Notepad file for
code snippet capture) to get just the perfect bits and
pieces to make the initial build eye-catching and make
the visitor wish to return for more.

In the meantime, should the builder have a mate, such
person usually gets relegated off to one side for the
moment; mates tend not to have the itch, as many are
not builders; or if they are, they are builders of
things other than websites. The mate hears the clacking
of the keyboard, and for some reason known only to
himself, decides that that other half is chatting. This is
most likely due to the extreme typing speed; when
the mate hears this speed his reaoning system
further says: "Not only chatting, but most likely
hypnotizing as well". Poor mate; to have never
gotten "the itch", as then he would know that typing
code also goes at quite a lively pace!

This itch session started in early July, and has now
completed its first phase, and way under the deadline.
I had set the deadline for August 15th; it was completed
August 11th, four days ahead of schedule. Now mate can
feel he is loved again...lol!

The title links to the new project...enjoy!

My My....lol!

Hubby has lost his login! Now we need to see if it can even be recovered, as it
was based on an email address that no longer exists. I may have to remove him
as a contributor and then reinstate him with a secondary email address.

Nerves Aplenty!

I am getting ready for an important business appointment. My partner is dead to the world, and My brain is not yet awake. So I am building up hits on some of My surf engines until I feel ready to tackle the business plan once more...thank god the appt is not till tomorrow!

Frustration!

My lord is trying to figure out the full controls on the DVD recorder we bought just after the wedding. Instead of trusting his techie-bride to find the right sequences, he himself is working up to a frustration level that will have him cussing before he is done...lol.

Far better it would be to wait until I am done with my web-work and let me do the job for him then explain. Oh well...he will learn eventually!

Landed...but

Reached My new home May 3rd. I am feeling like a plant that has been suddenly uprooted then re-planted in soil totally unfamiliar to it; partially because the move was so hasty that perhaps 65% of my total possessions may have been lost...partially because of the knowledge that I no longer have any type of home base in the United States.

I am trying to speed the recovery, and failing miserably. I have friends and subjects pushing Me to get a computer hooked up to sound...while I have not the slightest wish to perform hypnosis. Well, I do get a slight urge once in a while, but all told, I have done a total of three trances since landing.

I must accept the fact that I am simply not as resilient as I used to be...
